Description

My name is Bobby, and I have been tutoring math for the past 3 years, in everything from middle school to college level math.

I hold a BA in mathematics, and I am a graduate student at UT.

I have experience tutoring:
pre-algebra
algebra (1, 2, and college algebra)
geometry
pre-calculus
trigonometry
calculus (high school and college level, AB/BC AP test, etc.)

I would also be willing to tutor multivariable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, discrete math, physics, or other topics. If you have questions about something I have not listed, just ask. I will not offer to tutor in any area unless I feel very comfortable teaching the subject.

My tutoring philosophy is to nurture a thorough understanding of the subject. The goal is to understand the broad concepts behind these subjects so that problem solving comes naturally. I have been told by students that I do a good job explaining these things.
