Volunteers need for the Game of Real Life in Houston, TX

Game of Real Life is a comprehensive financial, career and college planning curriculum for rising 10th grade students that ends in an 8-hour reality simulation game where students execute winning strategies by working, paying bills, budgeting, investing, attending college, buying insurance, homes, cars, paying tax and responding to positive and negative “Chance Card” events.

When: Weekdays from 7:30am through 12:30pm from July 9 through July 29, 2008 (*Spring Woods High – starts on July 7)

Where: YES Prep Campus SE & SW, Aldine ISD, Springwood High School and KIPP Houston High School

Career Mentors: Young professionals meet with groups of students for 1 hour to discuss their real life experiences. Sessions from July 14th to July 18th from 10:30am to 12:30pm.The students rate this as one of the most valued part of their education
