Software Development Intern

FineTooth is currently seeking a high-energy software development intern who would like a unique opportunity to gain valuable working experience as a part of a dynamic and growing software development team.

If you are interested in an environment where you can gain truly gain software development skills, this is the opportunity for you. Working 15-20 hours per week, you will be:

• Working directly with the development team on a dynamic, AJAX based enterprise web application.
• Tuning performance and increasing reliability of the software products
• Developing code for third-party integrations
• Participating in design and implementation discussions

Tools used will include PHP, Python, Javascript, HTML/CSS, and CVS in a UNIX environment.

Qualifications:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, sophomore level minimum
• Knowledge of and experience with software development code standards
• Knowledge of web application development
• Some experience in writing code, preferably PHP in a Linux environment is desired but not required
