TOMORROW, OCT. 13 - Southwest Broadcast Newsroom Workshop – Southern Methodist University
Step out of the classroom for a day because you won’t get this kind of education elsewhere. The Texas Association of Broadcasters, Texas Associated Press Broadcasters and the Radio Television News Directors Foundation are organizing a one-day newsroom workshop set for Saturday, October 13 on the SMU campus.

As a student, the rate is only $20. This is an awesome bargain and an opportunity to receive the most up-to-date instruction from several of today’s broadcast professionals.

TAB Broadcast Career Expo – October 16 at Stephen F. Austin University
Need an internship, a job or perhaps some contacts in the broadcast industry? Wishing won’t get you there but attending TAB’s Career Expo is a great start! Meet with Texas broadcasters face-to-face Tuesday, October 16 at SFA in Nacogdoches. Nacogdoches might be a day trip for you but do inform your professors - they just might let you off the hook for a day!

Over 30 stations will be recruiting students, entry level job seekers and experienced professionals.

Admission is FREE! No pre-registration is required.

Don’t forget your updated resume and/or tape - a critique booth will be available.
