Tocquigny is searching for an interactive developer. Candidates will have strong user interface planning and development skills for the agency's office in downtown Austin, TX.

Full-time and contract-to-hire arrangements are available.

Tocquigny Interactive Developers are multi-faceted and well-rounded coders who code for the enjoyment, can own a project from start to finish, can get their hands dirty with Photoshop if necessary, and who pride themselves equally on beautiful code and pixel-perfect recreations of design comps. They integrate well within a team, are open and competent communicators, and can estimate schedules accurately while keeping to them.

Responsibilities:
• Developing standards-compliant, gracefully-degrading front end code viewable in all browsers and mobile devices
• Developing and maintaining custom web applications; including websites, microsites, Facebook and OpenSocial applications
• Efficiently slicing PSDs for layouts
• Staying abreast of best practices for development, as well as emerging technology

Required proficiencies:
• The LAMP stack
• Standards-compliant, well-formed, gracefully-degrading XHTML, CSS
• PHP4/5, MySQL4/5
• Javascript and Javascript frameworks (jQuery, Prototype)
• Markup and serialization languages (XML, JSON)
• Webservice concepts and languages (XML-RPC, SOAP, REST)
• UNIX environment (Debian/FreeBSD)
