Description
A New Media publication seeks freelance writers/musicians to write personal horror stories about their first time ever playing live. Stories should include technical details on what happened, the technical set up for the show, what gear was used, and descriptions of the difficulties encountered.
We are a gear-oriented publication, so the type of horror stories we are looking for are ones that feature misuse or failure of music equipment.
We are looking for informal, edgy, or fun writing that can convey the story, offer a bit of advice for performers, and promote indie culture.
In addition to your stories we are looking for partnerships with writers who want exposure and an opportunity for regular submissions could
become available to those who show skills we need. If this interests you, let us know.
New freelancers and college-level writers are encouraged to apply. This is an unpaid opportunity for national exposure in a New Media publication centered around the music industry.
Articles should be 400-1000 words long, although if they are a bit longer that is okay, as long as the content holds up. Please send your story in the text of an email to inbox260@yahoo.com. No attachments please.
